Marie Curie
Marie Curie was a world changer.She discovered radium and polonium did you know this is now used to treat people with a disease called cancer.
She was the first woman to win a Nobel prize,and the first person to win two Nobel prizes in two different subjects . She was was born in Warsaw,Poland.She died on July 4 ,1934.

I have my own blog so that I can work through the challenges with you. Just this morning I had to figure out how to add all my new blogging students to my blogroll. Next I am going to try out some different avatar sites.

We are working on our yard today. Got the sprinklers going! We have a couple of bushes in bloom. Today I am watching pelicans, geese and a few robins.
